NOR/SI MEDIA RIGHTS
Sailing.Pics is recommending the Organizing Authority (OA) to include the below Media Rights in the Notice Of Race and in the Sailing Instructions, to ensure the right level of information about media rights, to the competitors and supporting crews, when they participate in an event.
Our recommended Media Rights is our starting point for a dialogue with the OA. Together, we tailor-made the Media Rights to suit the specific purpose/need. Whether it is a local Optimist regatta or a big international event - in Danish or English.
It is our clear belief that it is always best to strive high and ensure to cover as much as possible from the start - 'better save than sorry'. It is absolutely not advisable, to try to get media rights from the competitors after the event is held, because you simply realise that e.g. your sponsores use of pictures are not covered, or you are not allowed to use the pictures in the press.

Media Rights (English)
By participating in this event, competitors and support crews/boats automatically grant, at no cost, to the Organizing Authority (OA), sponsors, affiliated companies and partners:

The absolute right to use their; name, voice, image, biographical facts and representations of the boats in any media (including but not limited to television, video, print and electronic media), for the purposes of; advertising, promoting, reporting and disseminating information regarding the event and all participants therein.

A perpetuity permission to use and sell images/videos from the event.
The official and only media partner of the event is Sailing.Pics (www.sailing.pics). Sailing.Pics will be the responsible supplier of the following types of media: Photography, drone pictures/video and video. Sailing.Pics' photographers/videographers will be clearly marked, with a PRESS flag/sign throughout the event.

Ved deltagelse i dette stævne, giver du (som udøver) (((og din besætning))) samt dit/jeres støtteapparat (på land og vand), uden betaling, arrangøren af stævnet, sponsorer, tilknyttede virksomheder og partnere:

Den fulde ret til at bruge; navn, stemme, billede, biografiske fakta samt båden i ethvert medie (herunder, men ikke begrænset til; TV, video, trykte og elektroniske medier) med henblik på annoncering, promovering, rapportering og formidling af information om stævnet og deltagerne.

Tilladelse til evig brug og salg af billede/video fra stævnet.
Stævnets officielle og eneste mediepartner er Sailing.Pics (www.sailing.pics). Sailing.Pics vil være den ansvarlig leverandør af følgende typer medier: Fotografi, dronebilleder/video og video. Sailing.Pics' fotografer/videografer vil være tydeligt markeret med et PRESS-flag/skilt under hele stævnet.
